Aarigaa

Aarigaa is an Indigenous owned and operated business by Pearl and her two daughters Kaitlyn & Kaiya. Pearl was an educator for 27 years in Alaska and is now a full time crafter. Kaitlyn is a UC Berkeley Graduate and is currently a Transportation Engineer in the Bay Area, she creates designs for the Aarigaa fabric and is the family beader. Kaiya is 15 and still loves printing 3-D ulus, animals, designing fabric and making bracelets. Kaitlyn & Kaiya are the original founders and are the force behind the vision for a Women Owned Indigenous Business. All three ladies are members of the Noorvik Native Community, their designs are connected to their Alaskan Iñupiaq, Gwich’in, and Koyukon cultures. The items for the business are made with ties to their ancestors and family, then released to their customers with a prayer.
